Does God speak today? Can He speak... to me? 

Most Christians probably agree God can speak to people. He has the power to do so. 

He’s God. 

He’s more powerful than anything or anyone. He can do whatever He wants. But the real question is…

Does He speak? 

And if He does, then…

How do you hear what He is saying?

The overly simple answer to the first question is…

Yes! God speaks today.

However, such a trivial answer is not fair to you.

I mean, it's the internet. Just because it is online doesn't make it legit. We have one site about the truth of Jesus next to a site about the gender of the seven dwarfs from Snow White. And next door to that is a sex site.

It's not all the same.   

And that's why you are reading right now. Not for a “he said/she said" kind of thing.

You're looking for the real truth to grab onto. 

That's why I'm writing to you right now. Because it's your time.

Your time to...

• begin hearing God's voice personally. 
• receive God-given answers for the problems in your life. 
• experience Jesus Christ in a way you never thought possible.

Now, to take this topic out of the realm of trivia into established fact, let's look at a couple Bible verses.

Hebrews 13:8 says:

8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

And in Malachi 3:6, God said:

6 For I am the Lord, I change not… 

In two different places... that I quickly picked off the top of my head... God said He's the same. 

He hasn't changed. 

He isn't changing.

He won't change. 

What He did in the past, He is doing today, and He will do. 

Then, if God spoke to people in the past, why would God not speak to you today?

We use history to predict present and future things all the time. 

Economists use historical economic data to predict future economic movements. Economists look at cycles of booms and busts, bull and bear markets, inflation and many other things. They know with relative certainty how the economy will react in situations based on looking at historical data. 

Financial analysts do the same. It's normal for them to use past stock, real estate, or business performance to determine future growth and trajectory. In fact, for example, traders of all kinds are constantly looking at historical data to see where the stock, option, and even cryptocurrency is headed.

Political leaders have thousands of years of history learn from and lean on. Empires like the Romans and Greeks to other empires of Genghis Khan and Alexander the Great to the British Empire and more. They use historical data to see how nations and governments progress.

These are only a few examples. 

But if we look at historical performance to judge with confidence future action with earthly things that are constantly changing...

... then we can certainly believe that God hasn’t changed. He’s the same from eternity past until eternity future. Forever.

Not only can He speak to you. He WILL talk to you.

As He spoke to Adam walking through the garden in the cool of the day...

... He will speak to you.

As He spoke to Abraham in the middle of a strange land... 

... He will speak to you.

As He spoke to Joseph, showing him the good future God already planned for him... 

... He will speak to you. 

As He spoke to Moses, Joshua, Samuel, Elijah, David, Gad, Nathan, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Peter, Paul, Jesus...

... He will speak to you.

And I'll prove it to you right now...

Every time you open the Bible is proof God speaks today. It's true. 

We just talked about the fact that God doesn't change. So if He spoke to other men for them to write the Bible that you hold in your hands...

... then it's proof God speaks today. 

Because not only does He use His Word, the Bible, to speak to you. But then He will speak to you just as He spoke to those men in the past.

Second Timothy 3:16 declares:

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

This clearly states the scriptures of the Bible were given by God and we use the scriptures to hear His voice. 

Because you were made to communicate with Him. 

And that's why I'm here...
