Revealed: 2 more keys to breakout of impossible situations

Written by Eric

There are times in life when it may seem like you can’t get out. It seems like it’s nearly an impossible situation.

Yesterday, I talked about two keys to overcome such a circumstance. Today, I want to give you two more…

These two come from none other than David Hogan.

If you’re not familiar with David Hogan, he’s a missionary to Mexico. He’s kind of like a wild West gunslinger, mountain man and Apostle Paul…all mixed into one. I’ve never heard him speak in person.

In one particular video, he began sharing his testimony of how he gave his life to Christ, was called to the ministry, arrived in Mexico and eventually began seeing incredible miracles in his ministry including raising the dead.

But there’s one part of his testimony that I’ll never forget as long as I live. As soon as I saw it years ago, it hit me. I don’t know how many times I’ve shared with people about what I’m going to share with you right now.

He told how he sold everything to go out on the mission field in Mexico. He and his family left all to follow what God told him to do. He left a good paying job. Kids left their school and friends. They left their church and all the people they knew.

And now, they were struggling financially. At times, without enough money to pay bills or buy food. And on top of all that, there were no results in his ministry. He said…

When he prayed for people for healing, they died.

When he preached and invited people to come to Christ, no one came.

David’s way of sharing stories is quite engaging. And when he got to this part, the people in the audience laughed. My reaction was the opposite. I began crying. Because I understood what it feels like when you’ve given up everything and you’ve sacrificed so much…

… and it’s still not working.

In his story, he shared two massive keys to breakout of impossible situations.

David said he went to his wife one day while they were struggling with having enough food to eat and no results in ministry and announced…

“What God called us to do is impossible. We can’t do it. There is no way to do it.”

His wife then asked, “Well, what are we going to do? Are we going to leave?”

He said, “No. We’re going to bow.”

That’s the first key…

Bow.

When you don’t know what else to do, humble yourself before God. The Bible says, when you humble yourself, God will exalt you at the appointed time.

There are different ways to humble yourself. Different aspects of it. I’m not going to get into all of those here. It’s for another time. But the key is… find a way to humble yourself and go lower before God.

Next, David told his wife, “I don’t know why the Word of God isn’t working. But we’re going to stick with it until it does.”

Oh my goodness… that’s powerful.

When you have the mentality of a pitbull chomping down on a hunk of meat like a vice grip and not letting go for any reason, your time of breakout won’t be far behind.

The key is having that dogged determination to hold onto God’s Word no matter what it looks or feels like or what’s happening in the natural realm.

These are two of the keys he used to breakout of impossible situations. And I’ve used these same keys as well numerous times.

In my newsletter, I go into a lot more depth about how to walk in these things. I lay it all out there. Because my goal for you (as well as me) is to live like Jesus, kicking the devil in the face and demonstrating His glory.
